Our Story
We're a couple based in Tokyo. From the very beginning, travel has been at the center of our relationship. We've been exploring Japan through photography and personal travel since 2019.
When friends and family visited, they always asked:
"Where should we go?"
Those conversations eventually became cheku, a way for travelers to discover where to visit and keep track of the places that made Japan feel special.
cheku makes illustrated Japan bucket list bottles, gallery-quality photography prints, and curated travel guides. Everything is designed in Tokyo by two photographers who have been exploring Japan since 2019.
A 22oz / 650ml insulated stainless steel bottle paired with illustrated destination stickers. Place a sticker for each destination you visit. The Traveler edition covers 27 destinations across Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. The Explorer edition covers 46 destinations across 31 prefectures.
